We hope you are all well and looking forward to when life will become somewhat normal again!
Our salon is all ready for when we may return.
Please don’t forget to nominate your Superhero! It could be anyone that you think deserves a treat for their part in keeping this country going during these difficult times.
This month’s beauty tips are for skin, eyebrows and eyes.
Keep Misbehaving Brows In Check
Spritz an old toothbrush or a clean mascara wand with hairspray, then brush brows and style them as desired. Even the most hard to tame brows will fall in line with this trick. Hopefully not too much longer to have to look after your own brows!
Dry Brushing Skin
Dry brushing is a simple way to detoxify your body. It helps stimulate a number of organs. It also helps the lymphatic system, eliminates dead skin cells, can help to eliminate cellulite and tightens the skin through better circulation. Best of all it’s cheap and easy. Always brush your skin towards the heart.
Dr. Frances Jang, a dermatologist recommends using raw potato slices to soothe your eyes. She says they are astringent, which means they help decrease water retention and they also contain the enzyme catalase which helps lighten dark under eye circles. First, wash and peel a potato. Cut two slices and place one on each eye for 10 minutes. Lie down, relax and let the potatoes work their magic. Rinse the eye area gently with lukewarm water when you’re done!
We hope you find some of these tips useful.
Also just to reassure you on salon hygiene, all staff have taken and passed the Barbicide COVID 19 infection control certification.
Please don’t forget, if you would like an appointment when we re-open then please email with treatment required.
We look forward to seeing you in the not to distant future.
With very best wishes!
